I'm still having trouble with hg.  I found the permissions problem; my .hg/hgrc file had the wrong password.  Now, both the hg command line and eclipse give me the same error:

# hg push
pushing to http://sunderman:***@code.google.com/p/grooviks-cube
searching for changes
warning: code.google.com certificate with fingerprint 56:f6:a9:a9:d2:ed:fd:1a:b2:f9:63:7e:d3:51:ac:56:b3:59:a9:8d not verified (check hostfingerprints or web.cacerts config setting)
warning: code.google.com certificate with fingerprint 56:f6:a9:a9:d2:ed:fd:1a:b2:f9:63:7e:d3:51:ac:56:b3:59:a9:8d not verified (check hostfingerprints or web.cacerts config setting)
abort: HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error

The certificate warnings might be benign, but the 500 seems terminal.  Google has not been any help to me; all I found is bug reports from people who experienced weirdness when importing into HG from SVN.

I'm going to try recloning from code.google.com, pushing my changes from my first repo into my new one.  But before I do that, does anyone have any suggestions of what I might have screwed up?  I'm too tired to figure this out tonight, so I'll probably start trying to figure this out again on Thursday (the soonest I will have time to work on this again).

I made a little progress over the weekend, but it has been slow
going--I'm still new to Python, so I'm still figuring out a lot of
things.  Anyhow, I'm pretty close to finishing the hookbox code for
transmitting game state from the cube server to the client, and
       maybe
       can check that in tonight.

       Remaining work:
       * transmitting game state from server to client (in progress)
       * showing/hiding control buttons on client based on game state
       * adding/modifying hookbox channel for sending game mode
       commands from
       client to server
       * finish state machine on server

I could use help with all of these.  I'm hoping to put in a few
       hours
tonight; does anyone want to meet up and discuss?

           Hi all,

any news on the game mode stuff ? We have about 2 weeks to

           running at PacSci.

TBH it seems like your repo is messed up (probably pushing to the wrong
url). I bet the clean repo will fix your problems.

Yeah, I was able to pull into a different local repo and then pushed to the main repo just fine.  Bleah.  At least it's working!
