February 15th Case Suggestions!

Attached are the “case suggestions” from our Technical Assistance Call last week on February 15th . I have also attached the “Admission Packet” information from the PA Department of Human Services for nursing home residents that states nursing facilities in PA must hold beds for 15 days when individuals are hospitalized. This was what the Hershey Medical Center inpatient geripsych unit used with nursing homes admitting residents with difficult behaviors. This would ensure they would take them back. Our next call is March 1st. We are expecting a case of any older adult in Corrections but welcome another case. Case form attached! Take good care! Linda
