Android Defragging?

This sounds like a great idea in many respects and will help firm up Android's environment.  I'm not sure it is a complete solution, but it is good to see Google trying to address the weaknesses in the Android platform.  The backward compatibility libraries were a start, but pretty clunky to use and I don't see how this will fully address the issue.  That one might be with us until the 2.x phones and 3.x tablets are history.
