Hi. I've just made a fork of Grive https://github.com/vitalif/grive2 which supports the new Drive REST API. I've also refactored the code by cleaning some old dead parts and carefully splitting API-specific and non-API-specific parts, so the old protocol implementation is still there. Partial sync (-d subdir) is also supported - that's also my feature implemented in 2014.

Everyone can try it out :)

Maybe I'll even work on implementing some new features / bugfixes / maintenance...

As I understand, the original Grive repository is abandoned? I've seen that some guy here https://github.com/linwiz/grive tried to merge ALL forks into his one - is he still active either?

Works great!

The only problem is that like every coder you have made the ultimate communications mistake and told people what you have DONE but not what it is FOR.

What on earth is a "REST API"? And why should anyone care? (Well, I know, now).

Folks - this gets grive working again after it stopped working in April thanks to something Google did or didn't do.

I don't know. I did get grive 0.3 off github (http://www.lbreda.com/grive for instructions), but there were some compile problems that needed fixing so perhaps it is a few months out of date.
