Title: Sr Linux Engineer

Work Location: Washington DC

Duration: 8 months +

Start: ASAP

Budget Approved and in place: Yes

Skills Need:

• Must have extensive recent experience developing scripts in UNIX and Linux for RH, SUSE, HP-UX, and Solaris.

• Must have ‘Recent’ hands on experience doing IT Systems Administration on a variety of Unix platforms (RH Linux, SUSE Linux, HP-UX, Solaris).

• Must have experience with Blade Logic.

• Must have experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for end-user administrators.

• Must have experience managing, controlling, and enforcing configuration changes in a large data center environment.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Must have effective verbal and written English communications skills.

• Must be able to make sound, timely decisions that have positive impact on the resolution of issues and problems.

Basic project management skills - Bachelor’s Degree required
