The final tournament is here. This weekend from 10am until we're done we'll be playing at the bucolic Lake Fairfax fields in the godless state of Virginia. We will likely have three games, but if we lose gracefully in the semis then obviously we'll forfeit the last game and go drink/eat at some cookie cutter outdoors bar/grill in NOVA. Since our feckless captain Colin will not be here this weekend, we will be postponing the big party until a later date. 

The attendance thing is not on the site, so please mark attendance on the google form I made, and check out the full schedule pasted for convenience below:

10 am - Lake Fairfax #3 - Shamrock and Roll  vs. Care Bears

10 am - Lake Fairfax #4 - Sharks with Lazers vs. Zoloft and Zima

Noon - Lake Fairfax #3 - Winner vs. Loser Lake Fairfax #4

Noon - Lake Fairfax #4 - Winner vs. BFT

2 pm - Lake Fairfax #3 - Championship - Winners

2 pm - Lake Fairfax #4 - Consolation - Loser from 10 am Lake Fairfax #3 vs. Loser Noon Lake Fairfax #4

Lake Fairfax, now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. 

Sweet Babies,

Sorry to leave Mike in charge, but that is just how this has shaken out. Is this the whole shebang? Is this pool play? There is no way for us to know. Sally and I can't be there because Sally will be participating in the Chesterfield Gorge 50k in bucolic Western Massachusetts, which, to borrow a description from Hunter S. Thompson, is like "the Super Bowl, the Kentucky Derby, and the Lower Oakland Roller Derby all rolled into one." 

We'll be at any subsequent games if there are any, so I hope you win, or, failing that, lose with dignity at an opportune moment so as to be able to catch the early bird special at the Lake Fairfax Marriott buffet. 

Send pics, bring a light, a dark, and plenty of tecate, and make us proud to have never cared.
