Before you begin using your new air conditioner, make sure to familiarize yourself with its remote control. The following is a brief introduction to the remote control itself. For instructions on how to operate your air conditioner, refer to the How to Use Basic Functions section of this manual.
ECO operation:Under cooling mode, press this button, the remote controller will adjust the temperature automatically to 24 C/75 F, fan speed of Auto to save energy (only when the set temperature is less than 24 C/75 F). If the set temperature is above 24 C/75 F, press the ECO button, the fan speed will change to Auto, the set temperature will remain unchanged.NOTE:
Pressing the this button, or modifying the mode or adjusting the set temperature to less than 24 C/75 F will stop ECO operation.
Under ECO operation, the set temeperature should be 24 C/75 F or above, it may result in insufficient cooling. If you feel uncomfortable, just press the ECO button again to stop it.
Keep pressing Fan button for more than 2 seconds to activate/disable Silence function(some units).

The indoor unit of the "Forest" series has a glossy undulating plastic of the front panel (Midea special design) with a hidden LED display, which can optionally disable the indication and sound.
The outdoor units have the original design "Diamond".
Blue fin heat exchanger cover - Protection against corrosion. Special anti-corrosion coating of the heat exchanger, protection from atmospheric phenomena and effects of aggressive environment. May differ in color (have blue, green, gold or no color at all (clear varnish)
Improved wettability of the heat exchanger aluminum plates which have a special coating with a hydrophilic layer, ensuring rapid removal of condensate from the indoor unit that does not allow to quickly form of mold and bacteria, providing a more efficient operation of the air conditioner.
Air purification system is provided with a high-efficiency air conditioner ionizer that produces millions of negative ions that neutralize all the harmful elements present in your home. Negatively charged ions attract the dust particles, bacteria, mold spores and viruses, neutralize them, supporting chichtotu and freshness of the air in the room.
The ionizer is usually located on the left side of the housing of the indoor unit under the blinds (see photo below). On some series of domestic and semi-industrial split systems, it can be installed optionally)
Designers Midea did not forget about the exterior of the exterior unit of the air conditioner, which in itself is a rarity for climate technology. The outdoor unit is much more elegant than its counterparts, it has facets like a diamond, and attention to detail speaks of a high level of production and a carefully thought-out design concept.
When pipe-temperature sensor at inlet line of evaporator will indicate highest temperature, system will indicate "EC" code in a display of indoor units, its mean "ask for service centre for visit maintance team with leakage detectors and tools"
Dry mode automatically selects cooling, based on the difference between fixed and temparaturoy actual room temperature. The temperature is regulated while reducing humidity repeated switching on and off of the cooling and ventilation only. when the dry mode on the remote control shows "Drop"
Increased heat. This unit uses the heat exchangers with tubes of a special design, the inner surface of which has trapezoidal notches "Innergrove cooper", which provides maximum heat transfer surface area increased. Due to this heat increases by 28%, reduced power consumption, and hence increases the efficiency of the system.
We've tested all the models in this guide, using them for one (or more) summers to keep our homes cool, checking to see how easy they are to install, how loud they are when in use, and how efficiently they operate. Our favorite model is the LG Dual Inverter air conditioner: not only does it look sleek, but it's very powerful, and comes in the widest range of sizes, so you have plenty of options depending on your home. Our value pick is the Midea U air conditioner, which works as well as it performs. And, its unique shape helps keep our room insulated.
The Midea U Inverter Window Air Conditioner gets its name from its unique "U" shape. That's right, there's a large slot in the middle of this smart air conditioner, which allows you to slide your window up and down. Not only does this feature let you open your window to allow fresh air in, but when your window is closed, it provides a much more effective barrier, so your air conditioner doesn't have to work as hard to keep your room cool.
Because of this design, the company also claims that the Midea U is quieter and more efficient than similar window air conditioners. The Midea U can be controlled from a smartphone app, or with Alexa or Google Assistant. It comes in three models: 8,000 BTUs, 10,000 BTUs, and 12,000 BTUs. In our Midea U smart air conditioner review, we really liked its quiet operation and innovative design, but did note that it's trickier to install than other window air conditioners.
One of the biggest issues with traditional window air conditioners is that they're, well, ugly. If you're going to be staring at something all summer long as it cools your apartment, it should at least look nice. Enter the Windmill, which is attractive as it is performant.
The Windmill has a large grille in the front with a subtle vent at the top which directs cool air up toward the ceiling, so it can then filter down throughout your room. The Windmill's surrounding baffles are a solid piece of plastic, rather than the accordion-style that's so common on many window AC units. We found that the Windmill was effective at cooling our apartment, but it has a lower energy-efficiency rating than the Midea U and the LG. And, as the Windmill only comes in two sizes, it's best for smaller spaces.
TCL, the company better known for its TVs, has expanded into home appliances, such as this window air conditioner. And, based on our tests, it's made a great first impression. The Smart Inverter Window Air Conditioner is easy to set up, has very intuitive controls, and is both quiet and efficient.
While its design isn't as innovative as the Midea U, we liked the TCL's window brackets and telescoping side panels, which feel much more durable than the traditional accordion-like baffles found on most window air conditioners. And, because the TCL unit comes with Matter, it works with every major smart home system: Alexa, Google Assistant, HomeKit, and SmartThings. Our only real issue with TCL's A/C is that the 8,000-BTU model felt a bit underpowered, as it took longer to cool down our bedroom than did comparable models. Otherwise, it's a very capable air conditioner.
