Hi all,
I have been helping Youlay & Monkol get started with our code base and our 3 interconnected repositories makes this very complex - complex enough to discourage contributors.

I know we discussed this in the past and we felt we wanted separate repositories so that we could licence different parts separately. However, we don’t actually have any licence files in any of the repos yet so I would like to revisit this and hopefully understand the licensing needs better.

We currently have a separate repository for

  1. android code
  2. grit web app code
  3. grit content

My questions are:

  • What are the plans for licencing these?
  • If we do want to licence the work, we really do need to include license files in the repos.
  • Can the android & web app code be combined into one repo at least?
  • If the issue is the content, then perhaps we can include some dummy content in the repo that would be enough for a dev to build the app and get started?

cheers
/Eoin/
