password for closing app

The password you need to exit the app from the admin screen in the new build is 'grit'. Cunning eh!

Hi team

Been a long time! Hope everyone's well. I'm trying to resuscitate some of the old Grit tablets and I can't seem to be able to exit the app from the admin screen. Over a year ago the password was 'grit' but this doesn't seem to be working. Anyone able to help?

Hi Sam,

Just tried closing Grit on my tablet, and the "Close Grit" button appears once I enter "grit".

If all else fails, you should be able to reset the Nexus to factory settings by using "recovery mode", as documented here:

BTW, I've been playing with a few dev tools lately to see how easy/quick it is to produce simple math apps. Just got my first app working in Unity, and it looks promising. Stay tuned!

Sweet, thanks.. Not sure why mine isn't working. Its one of the super old ones from PIO - and it defaults to CAPS so it's actually GRIT rather than grit.

Nevermind I managed to escape it anyhow and uninstall Grit. ;)
