Our Family

Good morning my sweet family.

It won't be long until we are all together again, enjoying each others company and catching up from the last year.

We are going to be hearing about a few of the people that are no longer with us.

Of course our Foundation namesake John C. Griswold, along with his 2 children Jacqueline Earls Moore, and his son David Ross Griswold.

The other 2 people, Steven P. Earls, and Lynn Louise Griswold, passed way before their time.

I didn't know Steven,but from the stories I have heard from his siblings, I think he and I would have gotten along quite well.

This Thursday August 27, would have been Lynn's 57th birthday. When I had talked to David about sharing backgrounds on our siblings( Lynn, and Steven ) it dawned on me that I sadly had not thought about her in quite some time.

It makes me sad.

My sister was one of the kindest,loving, and one of the funniest people I have ever known.

She and I were alike in many ways.

I have told this story many times.

Lynn is the one that drove me to the rehab facility 28 years ago.

Had it not been for her, I may not be here right now.( thank you Lynn)

Survivors guilt? Who know?

I wish you all could have known her like I did. You would have loved her too.

I am very excited for you to hear about the person she was.
