So what is the first thing you learn when you go to your first guitar
lesson? Do you learn to play scales? Do you learn modes or
sequences? What do you learn?

I remember my first guitar lessons,... and I thought I would be
learning all that stuff,... and that it would not be long before I was
on stage and tearing it up. But, actually, I was learning how to hold
a guitar pick properly, and the parts of my guitar. Wow! The most
foundational thing a person can learn in a guitar lesson is how to
hold a guitar pick? Absolutely, yes it is. Your guitar pick is as
much a musical instrument as your guitar. After all, it is doing half
the work. So why would you want to call it work? Well, You Don't.
Playing your guitar is not supposed to be work and that is what the
standard straight edged guitar pick does. The flat pick works you.

You are a professional player,or you are the hobbyist. There is no
reason to call it work, have fun with it. The GRIP Guitar Pick was
designed ergonomically to relieve wrist stress and to make it easy to
hold. The most fundamental part of playing your guitar is holding
your pick. So when you are choosing a new guitar in a music store,...
you want a quality product. Just remember to put quality in your
picking hand as well. Your wrist will thank you,... and your
movements will be more fluid, even while you play longer, and your
music will sound great!
