Usually,
I avoid the looking glass
So as not to ruin my day
But today,
I looked into the mirror
But today,
I faced myself

When was the last time, you faced yourself?
Each person must reserve time to examine their own life. There is
always a gap between who you want to be and who you actually are.
There will always be a gap. There is nothing wrong with the gap for
life lies in the lessening the gap.
Dedicate this week to lessening the gap
Do you want to be a singer, are you singing? Do you want to be a
dancer, are you dancing? Do you want to be a writer, are you writing?
Do you want to be a preacher, are you preaching? Do you want to be an
entrepreneur, are you starting? Do you want to be a scholar, are you
studying? Do you want to be a success, are you trying?
Do you want to be a success, are you trying?
This week, try something to lessen the gap.
"The world with all of it's problems belongs to you and me... All
things are yours. The past is yours, learn from it; the present is
yours, fulfill it; the future is yours, preserve it; the bible is
yours, know it; science is yours, master it; the truth is yours,
believe it; cancer is yours, cure it; faith is yours, claim it;
injustice is yours, correct it; ignorance is yours, banish it;
children are yours, teach them; sickness is yours, heal it; the arms
race is yours, freeze it; racism is yours, end it; war is yours, stop
it; poverty is yours, solve it; hope is yours, believe it; the world
is yours, change it; time is yours, use it; death is yours, prevent
it, delay it, overcome it." Rev. Dr. Charles G. Adams
