from "When"
by Lhea J. Love

When you can remember to pray for others
'Fore you think to kneel on your own behalf
And can delay your plans to help another
To share a hardship, triumph, cry or laugh
When you can choose to be happy each morning
After life gives your misery & strife
Just let me offer this as a fair warning
You, Love, will have integrity for Life!

Who is in your network? There are so many books being published,
distributed and sold regarding the power of networks.

There may be someone in your network who will introduce you to your
next employer; someone who will introduce you to your future spouse;
someone who will personally change the course of your life. The power
of a business relationship is dependent upon mutual gain.

Who in your network will be there if you lose your job, change
industries or move away? Who will be there after the break up, through
the divorce, after the settlement? Who in your life will be there for
you?

This is your circle.
These are your genuine relationships.

In life, there is a lot of emphasis placed on networking. Yes, it is a
fundamental part of your professional world. Today, we will focus on
relationship building. We will spend the second half of 2007 making
our bonds within our circle tighter.

This week, call someone you have not caught up with yet in 2007. This
week, go for 7 days without complaining to your friends. Spend 7 days
listening.
This week, call one mentor, one role model, just to say thank you.

This is your circle.
Appreciate it. Secure it. Fortify it.

"Who is in your circle? You should never be the sharpest person in
your circle. If there isn't someone that makes you want to read more
often, work more diligently, or learn new things... then there is
something not quite right about the decisions you make regarding those
who surround you." --Dennis Kimbro
