Waiting for a Whisper
by Lhea J. Love

Patience
the test untaught
teaches how to be
listening to inconsistencies
underlying truths
Patience
the rest unwrought
reaches you and me
tickling us insistently
helping us believe

There are two laws of success to remember. And thus, all rules, all
advice and all rituals can not work without these two laws. The first
is, indeed, be patient.

Patience is not procrastination. Patience is not idle. Patience is not
a series of excuses.

Patience is the action of working now for later benefits. Patience is
the process of believing now in unseen future possibilities. Patience
is the conviction that motivates you past procrastination, out of
idleness and through every excuse which attempts to hinder your
progress.

There is only one law more important than patience, and that is
preparedness.

Will you be prepared when your opportunity arises?

"The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his time
when it comes."
--Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli
