A boy and a girl met in a forgotten village, a mote of dust lost in an infinite sky.
He couldn't remember his past, and she couldn't picture her future.
For a while, they dwelt together in peace and friendship,
until fate struck like a bolt of lightning, bringing with it power that would change their lives forever.
That power came in the form of Light, once a great champion from a distant world, now transformed into a rabbit-like creature.
He was being pursued by agents of the Dark Throne.
As if to rouse the boy and girl to fight back against that malignant force, the village shifted and rumbled.

World Flipper (ワールドフリッパー) is a pixel-art-action pinball game with excellent anime-style elements created and published by Cygames from Japan. With a release only in Japan at the end of 2019, Cygames finally started a cooperation with Kakao Games from South Korea, who want to launch the game worldwide in 2021.
In World Flipper, the players also get involved in a storyline around a boy and a girl who meet a strange creature and follow it to it's world. The game is set in a fantastic retro-pixel-art-style but then is combined with endearing anime illustrations.
What is World Flipper?
World Flipper is an action game in which players slam their characters into enemies to defeat them.
Each character has their own unique characteristics and skill sets which can be developed and combined with those of other characters to unleash powerful attacks. Players can also team up with other players to defeat especially tough bosses. This multiplayer feature allows you to experience a different kind of fun to what you might normally experience through solo play, like using special abilities to stop enemies in their tracks and deal massive amounts of damage to them.
The main story follows the protagonists and their friends as they adventure through a diverse set of worlds, each portrayed using rich, imaginative artwork.
A great amount of attention has also been paid to details such as the music and world building, allowing for a deeply immersive player experience.
The Story
One day, a boy and girl encounter a creature claiming to be a hero from another world. They decide to team up with this creature on his journey to return to his homeworld. The three heroes gain the ability to cross worlds, and their journey begins. Perhaps they can even retrieve their lost memories...
Players make use of flippers, launching the characters into enemies by simply tapping on the screen. By tapping on them while they're in midair, the characters can perform a dash, which allows them to change trajectory to attack enemies. Bringing different characters together unleashes new skills and effects.

Players are transformed into characters Monkey and Tiger as they travel through the Flipper Critters fantasy world on a mission to fulfill their ultimate goal - saving their friend Bull - or so they think. The Critters progress though each subsequent area of the world by undertaking various challenges and deeds of heroism asked of them by their friends. Each quest takes the furry creatures to a "pinball table" landscaped by mountain valleys, towering castles and even includes a trip to the moon!
