I have the same issue on strix 3090. I have discovered that sometimes icue shows that the gpu has 10 zones. If icue shows 10 zones then this problem will occur. If I pull the card out of the socket put it back icue will report 1 zobe and the whole Lightbar functions. Limited in colour options but at least its all uniform.
So my issue I use to have was; icue only seen half the lights on the Strix 3090. Now today I see there was an update. Soooo after the update. now I can control all the lights, but its all at once... So nothing fancy... All the cool icue presets look like *** since it thinks its just one bulb.. So now, I'm not sure who needs to update next, whether that be Asus (which I doubt, since their update is the one I did) or its a icue issue...
Unfortunately I have come to the realization (as I'm sure many of you have) that the main issue plaguing any of the corsair products (icue products that is) is the software itself. Almost everything for my computer is corsair, keyboard, mouse, fans, aio, headset, and ram. I've been having nonstop issues for a couple of months now and I finally gave in and uninstalled ICUE and let me tell you, all my issues went away, my keyboard works fine, my fans don't flip out when I start my computer, my mouse doesn't loose connection, my headset mute and unmute function work as they should and the mic even works as soon as I start the pc instead of having to go into my sound settings and clicking the mute and unmute button in order for it to register sound, my ram isn't flickering, and my aio actually runs ok which is keeping my pc 8 degrees cooler on average. My main gripe is the fact that I spent so much money to make my setup look good and now it looks like unicorn vomit as I don't know of a way to control the rgb (if there's any other way other than icue please enlighten me) its frustrating because I bought corsair products thinking they were one of the better options and I do like how they look. It's ridiculous that I spent almost $200 on fans and I cant control the colors when even the fans that came with my case (Thermaltake) had a better setup rgb-wise (a clicker inside the case) I did think the convenience of having software control my rgb would be better especially since I would be able to color coordinate all my stuff. But loosing functionality for convenience is not right.
I was actually just looking for the instructions on how to do individual lights. However, in my icue software, which is all up to date, I don't have a + symbol in the lighting effects tab, only a + symbol in the actions tab.
I literally have no other profiles but the default profile. Which is set to spiral rainbow. I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of icue, which seemed to fix it yesterday, but I have come home from work today, turned my computer back on, and back they go to red.
Go back to Asus armory after restatrting your pc and check under the aura section and check to see if Shut down effects have been enable due to the update. Normally I have that off so that it doesn't conflict with icue.
Wish I could figure out why Icue isn't happy with aura sync. All softwares up to date. Just can't get the argb to play together nice. Uninstalled armor crate and disabled it in my bios of ROG B550-E. Still no joy. At best all I seem to be able to do is let aura do its own thing and configure icue to do another. Have been reading a lot of forum posts but coming up with no answers.
