Apparently, I sent this wrong. I'm really sorry if anyone didn't get the update.

Hey GRINners,

This sunday, A&O and SEED (Students for Ecological and Environmental Development) present PhilFest 2012 at the lakefill. Philfest is a free outdoor music festival that raises money for The Rocky Mountain Institute. In addition to music, there will also be a 'Green Fair' where organizations around campus (including ESW) share their contribution to the "green" movement. Philfest is from 1:30pm - 5:30pm, so in case any of you were interested (you should be!), I am changing our meeting from in Ford at 3pm to the sorority quads at noon. Because of the late notice, of course I understand if any of you can't make it.

Instead of a formal meeting, we will visit the sororities to see which are interested in receiving a CFL donation. This should be fun, since we're offering FREE stuff . The two houses I have already contacted were very excited, and committed a person to take us around the house during implementation. The implementation of CFLs is tentatively (pending a response from Catherine Hurley) set for next Sunday, May 20th.

Andi

Yeah, I didn't end up seeing this til after it happened.  For those of us that didn't make it, what happened?  Did you end up talking to any of the sororities?

I visited every single one, but it wasn't very fruitful. Every sorority (with the exception of 2 with no incandescents and 1 who didn't open the door) declined taking a rough count on the spot and told me they would email me numbers. I have only received one number from any of them to date and I've emailed their presidents twice. If anyone is affiliated with a sorority or fraternity they should let them know that FREE lighbulbs are goooooood thing and to email me their numbers. Attached is the flier.
