Meeting with CEP tomorrow

Hey GRINners,

Clean Energy Project (CEP) is another ESW group here at Northwestern and they've extended the invitation to us to work on their newest project. The overall goal of CEP is to convert 100% of Northwestern's energy consumption to renewable sources. Their newest project involves working with the director of Sustainability at Northwestern, Robert Whittier. From what I gathered at their meeting this week, they will be first collecting and compiling data about the various buildings at Northwestern (this quarter) and in the future making recommendations that have less than a seven year payback. At the moment, CEP is still defining their goals and timeline for the project, and they have begun preliminary research by checking out a couple of online tools used to compile data:

Tomorrow (Friday), I will be meeting with CEP in the ESW office at 12:30pm to discuss their project in more detail, and the kind of role GRIN can take. I really encourage anyone who is free to join us!
