Vadim Belotserkovsky has passed away

Sad news came today from Vermont - died Vadim Belotserkovsky participant of the Human Rights Movement in the USSR, a journalist and a long-time employee of Radio Liberty. Vadim's wife Anita Belotserkovskaya informed about his death. Below is a copy of her message: 

"I am writing to inform you that on April 21 of 2017 at 10:30 a.m., in a hospital in the capital of Vermont, my husband and your colleague Vadim Vladimirovich Belotserkovsky passed away at the age of 88 after a difficult illness (pancreatic cancer). He devoted his life to promoting democracy in Russia. This potential was not, however, in demand, and his awareness of this was a constant source of mental suffering.
