Thanks for the offer.  If you come across anything about Woody, Woodard, Grigg in VA it would be very interesting.  I know he was born in VA, there still seems to be a bit of a gap as to attaching parents to him.  He was born @ 1780 in VA - Father could have been Abner or Jesse who went to Rutherford NC.  I believe he was the last child from Jesse's 1st marriage, some say his mother was Nancy but have never found any proof there either. 

Woody shows up in Buke, Rutherford Co just before the 1800 census.  He has many children with his wife Leanner Johnston, they are in 1840 census in SC. I believe Leanner dies there also.  At any rate, anything on Woody Grigg in VA would be great if it exists.  Thanks a lot.  sherrie

Alexander Glenn was the only one who had a daughter named Martha old enough

of Bolin Grigg and Susanah Stogden.
