Does it give siblings names in the info, and Jesse Grigg's fathers name?

No Becky it doesn't.  I know because I helped the lady prepare it to submit.  She got in by taking it to Alexander Glenn and Frances Grigg daughter of Jesse Grigg and Martha Elam and then switching to the service of Martha Elam's father Joel Elam and his wife Phoebe Hill.   It is not possible to use the line of Burrell Grigg and Sabra Elam or Jesse Grigg and Martha Elam otherwise but perhaps now it will be possible to rebuild it.  The hard one to prove was Frances Grigg being the daughter of Jesse Grigg and Martha Elam but I had documentation that  they accepted..

Do you have the lineage info given by Carol Morrison for the parents of Jesse Grigg who married Martha Elam and her reasoning?  She did a great job but I have lost it myself.  I had a computer crash some time back...  She  suggests the birthdate of Jesse is closer to 1745 based on his appearance in the records.  I wish there were something more to prove the parents of Jesse but I do know Lloyd Bockstruck gives it as Abner Grigg and Mary Ford.

I have not worked on these lines in quite awhile, I would have to look and see if I have Carol Morrison's info in what I do have. At least I know the Elam line is accepted with the DAR., my husband's line is from Jesse Grigg and Martha Elam's son Joel Grigg who married Nancy Eunice Patterson, so need to see if I have documentation to prove Joel is the son of Jesse Grigg and Martha Elam.  I wonder if Loyd Bockstruck has documentation to prove that Abner Grigg and Mary Ford are the parents of Jesse or anything that leads him to believe this? It would be great to get the Grigg line further back. I will look through what I have and see if I have Carol's info and let you know.

Becky-
I would think your proof could be supported by the line of Frances Grigg born 1797 as daughter of Jesse and Martha Elam Glenn who were married  Jesse Grigg married Martha Elam December 11, 1786 in Mecklenburg County, VA.and lived in Lincoln Co NC...don't even mention Jesse Grigg and Nancy Webb maybe.  they might question that one.  We were able to prove the Martha Elam  as mother by the children of Alexander and Frances one of whom was Martha Elam Glenn and her brother was Jesse Glenn...So the Jesse Grigg of Rutherford Lincoln Co NC was there early about 1787 wasn't it?  It would probably support it better if Joel had named children Jesse and Martha aka Patsy.  Oh good he does...No Sabra and Burrell...so that supports it too.if I remember right there was a James Grigg there too but born too late to be father of these two...Then Joel is named for Joel Elam I am sure  and a daughter Phoebe is missing but oh well....it is a place to start.....  good luck...

Beckythere was a Phoebe but she is credited to Burrell and Sabra.  Where do you live?  Have you ever seen the family history on the Corn/Glenn family?  Maybe it might have something in it to help>  and don't we wish we could find the estate record of Jesse our Jesse?  I was told he likely moved on with one of his children.     He was born early so he likely died about 1825.  The problem is where.   I have not completely agreed the Jesse GriggSleeping half-moon emoticon who moved first to Illinois to Jackson County not too far from Frances  is not him..>The headstone in NC  gives a deathdate close to that and it was only a memorial done at a later date.     I have quite a bit about him from a County History trying to decide if he was our Jesse.  He died, I think, in MO...What do you think?

I live in TN. No... I have not seen the family history of Corn/Glenn. Would like to see it though to see if there are any connections. How would I find it, is it online?

I have no idea about Jesse. His son Joel is buried in TN.

I'm not sure...when I saw it I was looking at the Family History Center Catalogue in a Surname Search and saw it..I have never seen it myself.  It would be worth it look online though if there is not one nearby...I don't live near one anymore.  I used to volunteer at one for many years until I moved.  If you manage to find it let me know as I honestly would be interested too....

Lord I would really love to find Jesse's  death data.   I did try for awhile to find  the records of the one who supposedly died in Missouri but failed.  But he did die there I know...I saw him there and then his widow and children after he was gone.but I think he died 1846 not 1826.  So likely not the right one...Where would our Jesse have gone though...The only place I can think of is Tennessee..That is where the movements would have been at that point...There or maybe Georgia...

Frances and Alexander were married in 1815 in Rutherford NC but her father did not sign the marriage bond...which makes me think he was gone somewhere at that point...I don't think he died there though....there would be some kind of record.  Joel Grigg went to McMinn Co Tn so I wonder if Jesse went with him?  Who signed his marriage bond with Eunice?

Becky I tried to find it online but could not...you might find it at the Newberry Library in Chicago or at the LDS Church by film order.  Sorry I could not find it.
