I love autumn. It gives me a chance to sit at home and watch the world
series. A bit like the Yankees again this year . . .

Q: Why did Cinderella get kicked off the NY Yankees?
A: Because she ran away from the ball.

The Yankees are at least still trying. They installed a new pitching machine
the other day. Unfortunately it beat them 5 - 1.

Q: Heard about the huge oil spill off the East Coast?
A: They've hired the Yankees to help clean it up. They just go out there and
throw in the towel.

Q: What is the difference between Yankee fans and dentists?
A: One roots for the yanks, and the other yanks for the roots.

Smiling the Lord proclaimed, "You don't have a chance, I've got a lot of
Yankees up here - Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio and Lou Gehrig."

"Yes", laughed the devil, "but I have all the umpires!"
