The sermon was long.  Very long.  And the pastor showed no sign of slowing down. A man got up and left in the middle of the message and later walked back in.

 

Afterward, the pastor asked the man where he had gone.

 

“I went to get a haircut,” he replied.

 

The pastor demanded, “Why didn’t you do that before the service?”

 

The gentleman answered, “I didn’t need one then.”
