My young grandson called on "pi" day (3.1415 was my 67th birthday) to wish
me 'Happy Birthday'. He asked me how old I was, and I proudly told him.
He was quiet for a moment, and then he asked, "Did you start at 1?"
[thank you for all the kind birthday wishes over the weekend, even from the
rotten grandkids]
