[I’ve been battling a long illness and for the past four months been “locked down” to reduce stress, allow time for my body to “catch up”, my emotions to “straighten up”, and my mind to focus again. My heart has “looked up” to God and Psalm 13 has been a blessing. I’m not alone in “breaking down”. But then, I’m not alone since God has never failed me and His love in everlasting.
Feel free to change this to YOUR name in my three-part outline of this Psalm as you recall God’s past blessings to YOU and have 100% confidence in HIS love and blessings to come!]
PSALM 13
[GENERAL QUESTIONS OF BOB TO GOD]
How much longer, Lord, will You forget about me? Will it be forever?
How long will You hide?
How long must I be confused and miserable all day?
How long will my enemies keep beating me down?
[SPECIFIC PLEA BY BOB TO GOD]
Please listen, Lord God, and answer my prayers.
Make my eyes sparkle again, or else I will fall into the sleep of death.
My enemies will say, "Now we've won!"
They will be greatly pleased when I am defeated.

I trust Your love, and
I feel like celebrating because You rescued me.
You have been good to me, Lord, and
I will sing about You.
