The weather is unseasonable warm for December, with no snow or ice here in southeastern Wisconsin, so the wife and I took a long, leisurely drive around the city to enjoy a burger, an opportunity for time together, and to look at the Christmas decorations in each of Watertown’s neighborhood.
Before heading home, we stopped to fill up our car's gas tank and tires.
She was surprised to see that the station now had a fee to fill the tires, and asked me, "Why in the world do they charge for AIR?"
I simply responded, "Inflation."
