Santa at center court in the mall was working through a long line of boys and girls sharing their deepest wishes for what they wanted under the tree this Christmas.
He was surprised when the next “little” girl looked 20-something, but he dutifully asked the traditional questions about being naughty or nice and what she wanted for Christmas.
She replied she was nice and didn’t want anything. Instead, she wanted Santa to bring something for her mother.
He thought how sweet her spirit was, so played along and asked whe he could give her mother this year.
All she said was, “A son-in-law”.
