Sometime this year many evolutionists will celebrate the 150th anniversary
of Charles Darwin's "Origin of the Species." His theories proclaim as fact
that higher forms of life gradually developed over millions of years. These
forms supposedly got their start  from lifeless matter which came into being
spontaneously when heat, light, electricity and certain chemicals got
together under certain conditions by chance (as a Big Bang). All of this is
said to have come about apart from a Designer/Creator!
 
Nothing has done more to convince our children - and many adults - that the
BIBLE is false when it speaks of God's creation in GENESIS and other
biblical references. It all makes the Creator, Jesus Christ, out to be a
liar! Soren Lovtrop, well-known Swedish scientist and evolutionist, has
declared: "I believe that one day the Darwinian myth will be ranked the
greatest deceit in the history of science."
 
The eminent 19th century genetic scientist, Louie Pasteur, in his research,
proved that "there can be no life without preceding life." No person has
ever observed evolution going on. Scientists haven't found scientific facts
to prove evolution. Sir Arthur Keith, a noted evolutionist, admitted:
"Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it because the only other
alternative is believing in special creation (by God) - and that is
unthinkable!" Really, now, what is so "unthinkable" that all things in the
heavens and earth were created by an all-wise, all-powerful Designer? - And
that they are under the sustaining dominion of the Wonderful Lord Jesus
Christ! (See COLOSSIANS 1:16-17)
 
In his famous book Darwin did not mention any specific examples of the
origin of any new species of plants or animals and gave no proof of some
lower form evolving into a higher, more complex organism. He spoke of
variations within a species - and that is truly evident, i.e., different
types and sizes of dogs. Darwin predicted that the fossil record would help
prove his theory of evolution. However, all fossils that have been found
reveal that each one appeared fully formed - no transitional forms. You
would need to find millions of transitional forms to prove that one species
gradually developed into a more complex one. Everything reproduces "after
its kind." (GENESIS 1:20-31)
 
The late Dr. Henry Morris, Ph.D., founder of the Institute of Creation
Research, and former head of VA Tech's Dept. of Civil Engineering, stated:
"It is significant that well over a century after Darwin and despite the
lifelong efforts of thousands of scientists and untold millions of dollars
spent on elaborate studies and experiments, evolutionists still have never
observed the evolution of a single new species, nor do they have any certain
knowledge of the mechanism by which evolution works." He also said: "The
basic reason why there is no scientific evidence of evolution in either the
present or the past is that the law of increasing entropy, or the second law
of thermodynamics, contradicts the very premise of evolution. This law
proves that the whole universe is running down into complete disorder."
 
Our educational system should give students the opportunity to examine what
creation science is all about. What is so fearful about creationism? Dr.
Dean Kenyon, biology professor of San Francisco State, who holds a doctorate
in bio-physics from Stanford, stated his belief: "A scientifically sound
creationist's view of origins is not only possible, but is to be preferred
over the evolutionary view."
