Some biblical truth for the Thanksgiving Weekend to keep our minds from wondering about what great bargain we might have missed on Black Friday and reflect back to giving praise to God
1st Chronicles 29:10-13
O Lord God of our father Israel, You deserve praise forevermore!
O Lord, You are great, mighty, majestic, magnificent, glorious, and sovereign over all the sky and earth!
You have dominion and exalt Yourself as the ruler of all;
You are the source of wealth and honor;
You rule over all;
You possess strength and might to magnify and give strength to all.
Now, our God, we give thanks to You and praise Your majestic name!
Psalm 100:1-5
Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!
Serve the LORD with gladness!
Come into His presence with singing!
Know that the LORD, He is God!
It is He who made us, and we are His
we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name!
For the LORD is good;
His steadfast love endures forever, and
His faithfulness to all generations!
