When her child was to begin school, a wife started to think that she did not look like them or anyone in either family.  So she decided to do a DNA test.

 

The results came back, showing the child is not actually related to either of them and had completely different parents.

 

She said to her husband, "Honey, I have something very serious to tell you."

 

He replied, "What's wrong?"

 

Holding back tears, she related "According to DNA test results, this is not our child."

 

Her husband sighed. "I know that.  Don't you remember? When we were leaving the hospital, we noticed that our baby had a wet diaper and was crying? You told me, 'Honey, go change the baby, I'll wait for you here'."

“Well, I did.”
