[Someday, we'll look back on 2023, laugh nervously, and change the subject.  But now I am thinking about 2024 and considering minor changes that need to be made.]

>I will adopt a positive attitude about my destructive habits.

>The next time a computer beats me at chess, I will not try to win at kick boxing.

>I will be really easy to get along with once everyone learns to worship me.

>If my wife begins to sound reasonable, I will up my medication.

>I'll try being nicer, but only if my co-workers try being smarter.

>I will go to a doctor to find out what my problem is, but I'll bet it's hard for a psychiatrist to pronounce.

>I have plenty of talent and vision. Need to work on the fact that I just don't care.

>If I have a heart attack in an elevator, I will be sure to push the up button.

>I will always drive what I think is the right speed. Anybody going slower than me is an idiot, and anyone going faster than me is a maniac.

>I will never put off until tomorrow what I can avoid altogether.
