The next time you think you have an excuse why you just CAN’T do something, why God CAN’T use you, remember these people:
Noah was a drunk,
Abraham was too old,
Isaac was a daydreamer,
Jacob was a liar,
Leah was ugly,
Joseph was abused as a teen,
Moses, David and Paul were all murderers,
Deborah was a woman,
Gideon was afraid,
Samson had long hair,
Rahab was a prostitute,
Timothy was too young,
David acted crazy, then had an affair and ran away from his own son,
Elijah was suicidal,
Isaiah preached naked,
Jonah ran away from God,
Naomi was a widow,
Job was bankrupt,
John the Baptist ate bugs,
Peter was impulsive and hot-tempered,
John was self-righteous,
James fell asleep while praying,
Martha worried about everything,
Mary was so heavenly-minded she was no earthly good,
Mary Magdalene was demon-possessed,
A boy sharing his lunch of fish and bread was too unknown (and still is),
A Samaritan woman was divorced - more than once,
Zacchaeus was too small,
Paul was too religious,
Timothy had stomach ulcers, and
Lazarus was dead.
And just WHAT is your excuse?
