I was holding a Bible study for people who were new Christians just beginning to understand the basic Bible stories that so many of us have known  from childhood.  I asked “What do you think was the greatest miracle in the Bible?”

 

Some answers were excellent – God created heaven and earth; Jesus turned water into wine; raising Lazarus from the dead; feeding the 5000; an/d many more.

 

But one dad took the prize when he said, “The greatest miracle in the Bible is when Joshua told his son to stand still and he obeyed him.”
