It’s the year of the pig, so I’m wiping the bacon grease off my fingers as I type some ways YOU can learn basic Chinese phrases to wow friends and neighbors. The ENGLISH phrase will be followed by CHINESE phrase. Best to read aloud to learn proper enunciation.

I thought you were on a diet? = Wai Yu Mun Ching
Stay out of sight = Lei Yung Lo
Our meeting is tomorrow = Wai Yu Kum Nao
He’s cleaning the automobile = Wa Shing Ka
Your body odor is offensive = Yu Stin Ki Pu
