[Returning from California – praise God, I escaped alive but with far less money – I found they had some odd breeds of dogs out there]
Pointer crossed with a Setter = Poinsetter, a lovable Christmas pet.
Pekingese crossed with a Lhasa Apso = Peekasso, an abstract dog.
Labrador Retriever crossed with a Curly Coated Retriever = Lab Coat
Retriever, the choice of research scientists.
Bloodhound crossed with a Labrador = Blabador, a dog that barks
incessantly.
Irish Water Spaniel crossed with a Springer Spaniel = Irish Springer, a
dog fresh and clean as a whistle.
Collie crossed with a Malamute = Commute, a dog that travels to work.
Malamute crossed with a Pointer = Moot Point, a dog that - oh, well, it
doesn't matter anyway . . .
