A fancy restaurant was preparing brunch for Christmas. The Eggs Benedict looked scrumptious, but there was no bright shiny platter large enough on which to properly display them for the buffet.

 

An ingenious kitchen staff member had an idea and quickly ran outside, returning with a gleaming old hubcap off a vintage auto. He cleaned it up carefully and showed the head chef.

 

When asked how he ever got such an idea, the worker said, “I always thought there was no plate like chrome for the hollandaise.”
