According to a news release, the 2023-24 Cold & Flu season is upon us. We are reminded to be health-conscious in our habits. So far this is what I’ve heard from my friends and readers . . .
>Always use a facial tissue for covering coughs and sneezes, recommends Chinese Doctor Ah Chou.
>My fishing buddy said he is not worried about the flu. He went all summer without catching anything.
>The manufacturers of sanitizing gel are rubbing their hands together.
>One fellow said his body has absorbed so much soap and disinfectant in the past two years, that when he pees, it cleans the toilet.
>The scientific community said that from the past couple years they’ve concluded the spread of a virus depends on two things:
1. How dense the population is

>The pope got sick with the bird flu. He thinks he got it from a cardinal.
>We let our boy know it was the cold and flu time of year. Wife told him “It’s the Vitamin C son.”
>Personally, I hate it when people with a cold still go out to work or shop. That just makes me sick.
