[Heard that Dr. Frankenstein's New Year's resolution was to make new friends. Mine were not that clever, and they will go in one year and out the other.]

 

My first resolution was to read more.

I immediately said “yes” to subtitles on my TV.

 

I resolved to watch them drop the ball in Times Square.

It's a nice reminder of what I did all year.

 

Then I made a New Year's resolution to drink more water.

So far I've only gotten as far as "drink more."

 

My next New Year’s resolution was to stop procrastinating.

But I’ll wait until February 1^st to start.

 

I resolved to put my 2024 calendar in the freezer and pull it out January 1^st

Figured it was the only way I could start the new year being really cool.

 

This New Year I resolve to be less awesome.

That is really the only thing I do in excess.

 

I thought about resolving to quit all my bad habits for the new year.

Then I remembered that nobody likes a quitter.

 

At the New Year's Eve party, I resolved to lose 10 pounds in January.

Today is January 5^th and I’ve only got 15 pounds more to go.

 

My final resolution is to break my New Year's resolutions.

That way I will succeed at something!
