Hackers may change the settings in your Yahoo Mail account to disrupt your inbox or get copies of your emails. Check some of the most commonly changed settings to make sure none of your info or preferences were changed without your knowledge.
I Can not link my Yahoo mail to dropbox . Yahoo have removed the upside down v (next to the Attachment icon) that gave the option to Share from Dropbox . Does Dropbox now not support Yahoo mail or am I doing something wrong.
Could you please try to unlink your Dropbox account from your Yahoo mail and re-link it as per the instructions from the page below and let me know if you're still not getting an option to attach your Dropbox files through your Yahoo mail directly?
Can you please look at the Youtube video link I posted on my last reply and please look at the replies from the general public about the Youtube video saying the upside down v linking Dropbox to Yahoo mail is no longer there.
Sorry to hear this persists for you Gary - may I reach out to your Dropbox associated email address so we can have a better look into this with all of my tools available as I might need to bring this to an expert's attention?
Sorry to hear you feel this way - I wish I could help more than this but, as mentioned, I'd need to have access to all of my tools to look into this and to do that we'd need to go through the email route - in this way I'll be able to send your request to the appropriate department (if needed after all.)
I understand that this is not optimal for you but I haven't seen any similar reports lately from our users in regards to connecting their Yahoo! Mail accounts with Dropbox or attaching files directly from their emails.

So I accidentally moved the default Bulk folder into the trash, and I can't get it out again.
I did try moving the "Bulk.msf" out of "Trash.sbd" under the corresponding profile, but once I open Thunderbird it resets. I'm guessing that it's recovering the profile settings from the server? Is there anything I can do?
This is the imap location shown under properties:
imap://______@imap.mail.yahoo.com/Trash/Bulk
but I'm pretty sure it should look like below:
imap://______@imap.mail.yahoo.com/Bulk
For the past 4 days Ive had this problem. NO images showing in my Yahoo mail, but they were in all my other browsers. So I did as Flamehold mentioned above (one at a time) and then checked my email. After I shut off the brave shields for Yahoo mail the images are back again. I really dont remember turning them on OR off before, or messing with shields before. I wonder why all of a sudden the images stopped showing? Strange.
A relative asked me this because access to Yahoo! Mail is disabled at work. I suggested that signing up Yahoo! Plus for $20/year to have POP3/SMTP access, then use Gmail or Outlook to access Yahoo!. However Gmail is also disabled. I was wondering if there is any workaround.
My previous phone, a six year old series 40 Nokia phone, can download and run GMail and Google Maps apps onto it, and has a POP3 and SMTP capable mail app. All very painful to use on a tiny screen with a T9 keyboard, but still possible if you just want to keep up to date on emails whilst at work.
Whenever I try to add my yahoo account to k9 it gives me error saying incorrect username or password. I checked the username and password and they are correct. I am able to add account with the same credentials in bluemail app but for some reason I am unable to add my account to k9mail.
My colleague passed me a screenshot the other day of his iPhone Yahoo Mail app. Our email was in there, alongside Uber and Amazon's. But while Uber and Amazon had their brand logos in the preview panel (left hand side), ours had the two first letters of our company name displayed with candles. It looked like an auto-generated image (and I've certainly not knowingly put anything there).
Nothing on the forums seems to relate to email favicons, only web ones. I could try putting something like in the header of my emails but I don't think that would work since it's intended for a website.
One more thing, I had inquired about this a few days ago and they did say they will pull a logo automatically for companies that are sending fully signed DMARC email. I am unsure where they go to obtain a logo...it may come from Facebook or LinkedIn.
I'm using yahoo mail on Thunderbird 60.7.2 windows (imap). By mistake i sent "Archive" folder to trash using "delete" option. Now i can't restore it to the original location. Deleting that folder from trash is not possible neither. If i click on the folder's properties,i get this locationimap://[email protected]/Trash/Archive
The mail program on Yahoo has been frozen in Firefox, no other browser.Yesterday, I opened it, and i was unable to delete mail because the whole toolbar with delete, reply, forward, spam, etc. was no longer on my mail window. I tried to send an email, but this function was also disabled.
Cookies and cache are information that websites you visit store on your computer - these are often preferences, such as whether you use the 'basic' version of Yahoo! mail or the 'full featured' version. Deleting these means that Yahoo! will set some of its less important settings back to their default values - useful if you accidentally changed some settings and can't figure out how to change them back. No important information is stored in cookies or cache, so deleting them will just mean that you will have to log back into some websites. Read this article on deleting cookies - try just deleting cookies for Yahoo!. If this doesn't work, delete all your cookies and check the box next to cache as well.
I empathize with Momus. It is sad that something happens out of the clear blue like this and no one knows why. My Yahoo Mail tool bar is gone and renders it useless. I can switch to the basic, but I don't like it. It works fine in IE and Chrome, so it has to be something in Firefox. I like Firefox, but I may have to lose it now. The only other thing is I dropped my paid Yahoo Mail account, because of the same thing that bothers Momus, No Support! They expect you to wade through hundreds of pages of posts and idiotic ramblings trying to find a solution. I tried to find out why I was unable to change a name in the Contacts, My daughter got married, and it will Not change. There are hundreds of Posts on changing your screen mane and stuff, and one person gave me the instructions for Editing Contacts, which I was smart enough to find on my own, but it didn't work, as I had previously posted. Just a pure waste of a couple of hours of searching the ramblings of teeny techs. Even the instruction here are difficult to follow and arcane. Virtually none of them are clear enough to even follow. If I can figure out how to save my Yahoo emails, I'll just get a Google account, which may not be any better. The lack of support, especially, when I paid for the account, is unconscionable. It looks like I'll have to switch browsers, as well, to Chrome. I cannot do IE, though. I appreciate your volunteering, but there s/b more support. I'd pay for the freak'n browser for some support, but then they'd have to drop all of the ads and crap.
For the second option, you can use our email signature maker, which includes templates, add ons, and custom design options. It will even auto-install the signature in your Yahoo for you.
I have been receiving Admin alerts from Microsoft stating: "We've detected users in your tenant may have had email messages unexpectedly deleted by the Yahoo mail app". The recommended action is to identify users and work with them to help them retrieve the emails.
Yahoo! Mail (also written as Yahoo Mail) is an email service offered by the American company Yahoo, Inc. The service is free for personal use, with an optional monthly fee for additional features. Business email was previously available with the Yahoo! Small Business brand, before it transitioned to Verizon Small Business Essentials in early 2022. Launched on October 8, 1997, as of January 2020, Yahoo! Mail has 225 million users.[4]
Users are able to access and manage their mailboxes using webmail interface, accessible using a standard web browser. Some accounts also supported the use of standard mail protocols (POP3 and SMTP). Since 2015, users can also connect non-Yahoo e-mail accounts to the webmail client.[5]
New Yahoo! Mail accounts, and most of the service's accounts, use yahoo.com as the email suffix. Previously, users could choose ymail.com or rocketmail.com as a suffix,[6] or one of several country-specific suffixes. Many countries were available, such as yahoo.co.uk in the United Kingdom, yahoo.fr in France (also used by francophones) and yahoo.it in Italy. While these suffixes are discontinued for new accounts, they are preserved for existing accounts.[7] Yahoo! Japan Mail, a separate service, offers both yahoo.co.jp and ymail.ne.jp as suffixes.[8] Internet service providers using Yahoo! Mail offer their own suffixes for subscribers, with AT&T also offering free accounts to non-subscribers.[9]
