The Colorado Option is available to all Coloradans who buy their health insurance on the individual market (i.e. not from an employer) and small employers with less than 100 employees. Health insurance plans are required to lower premiums on Colorado Option plans by 15% by 2025. The Commissioner will enforce premium reductions through the Division's rate review and a new public hearing process. Click the button below to learn more about the public hearings.

As part of the Colorado Option, the Division has designed a Standardized Plan which allows consumers and businesses to easily compare plans and choose the plan that is right for them. These plans cover all essential health benefits required by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), provides free ($0) primary care and mental health office visits, and is designed to reduce racial health disparities and improve health equity.

Colorado Option Standardized Plans are required to lower health insurance premiums for individuals, families, and small businesses by 15% by 2025. Due to the entrance of Standardized Plans in the market, the Division was able to submit a federal Section 1332 waiver. The waiver documents how the Division is able to control health care costs and support coverage by reducing health insurance premiums. Funds from the waiver will be used to support state-based subsidies for health insurance affordability and access designed by Colorado's Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise.

To ensure the work of the Colorado Option is transparent and informed by a variety of stakeholders, HB21-1232 requires the Governor to appoint members of the Colorado Option Advisory Board. The Advisory Board will consist of up to 11 members with varied experience in health care.

If this Boolean attribute is set, this option is not checkable. Often browsers grey out such control and it won't receive any browsing event, like mouse clicks or focus-related ones. If this attribute is not set, the element can still be disabled if one of its ancestors is a disabled element.

If present, this Boolean attribute indicates that the option is initially selected. If the element is the descendant of a element whose multiple attribute is not set, only one single of this element may have the selected attribute.

The content of this attribute represents the value to be submitted with the form, should this option be selected. If this attribute is omitted, the value is taken from the text content of the option element.

Styling the element is highly limited. Options don't inherit the font set on the parent. In Firefox, only color and background-color can be set, however in Chrome and Safari it's not possible to set any properties. You can find more details about styling in our guide to advanced form styling.

Local option tax (LOT) is a way for municipalities in Vermont to raise additional revenue. A municipality may vote to levy the following 1% local option taxes in addition to state business taxes. Please note: Local option tax does not apply to the sale or rental of motor vehicles which are subject to the motor vehicle purchase and use tax.

Sometimes businesses mistakenly charge customers local option tax. If this happens, the easiest way to get your money back is to contact the business where you made the purchase to request a refund for the tax paid in error.

If the business is unable to provide a refund, you can request a refund directly from the Vermont Department of Taxes by completing and submitting form REF-620, Application for Refund of Vermont Sales and Use Tax, Meals and Rooms Tax, or Local Option Tax. Please enclose a copy of your receipt(s) or invoice with the form.

All vendors, including out of state vendors, authorized to collect taxes in Vermont are required to collect and remit to the Vermont Department of Taxes all applicable local option taxes for sales that occur in participating municipalities. No additional registration with the Department is necessary.

Although local option tax is levied by the municipality, the Department collects and administers the tax. Vendors who collect this tax file and remit it to the Department along with their electronically filed state taxes.

Calculates the length of an Option as an Optionwithout moving the String. The map method takes the self argument by value, consuming the original, so this technique uses as_ref to first take an Option to areference to the value inside the original.

A somewhat common occurrence when dealing with optional valuesin combination with Result is the case where one wants to invokea fallible fallback if the option is not present. This exampleparses a command line argument (if present), or the contents of a file toan integer. However, unlike accessing the command line argument, readingthe file is fallible, so it must be wrapped with Ok.

Converts an Option into an Option, preservingthe original. The map method takes the self argument by value, consuming the original,so this technique uses from to first take an Option to a referenceto the value inside the original.

Options are a type of derivative product that allow investors to speculate on or hedge against the volatility of an underlying stock. Options are divided into call options, which allow buyers to profit if the price of the stock increases, and put options, in which the buyer profits if the price of the stock declines. Investors can also go short an option by selling them to other investors. Shorting (or selling) a call option would therefore mean profiting if the underlying stock declines while selling a put option would mean profiting if the stock increases in value.

The main disadvantage of options contracts is that they are complex and difficult to price. This is why options are considered to be a security most suitable for experienced professional investors. In recent years, they have become increasingly popular among retail investors. Because of their capacity for outsized returns or losses, investors should make sure they fully understand the potential implications before entering into any options positions. Failing to do so can lead to devastating losses.

Both options and futures are types of derivatives contracts that are based on some underlying asset or security. The main difference is that options contracts grant the right but not the obligation to buy or sell the underlying in the future. Futures contracts have this obligation.

The value None is used when an option does not have an actual value. Otherwise, the expression Some( ... ) gives the option a value. The values Some and None are useful in pattern matching, as in the following function exists, which returns true if the option has a value and false if it does not.

In the previous code, a list is searched recursively. The function tryFindMatch takes a predicate function pred that returns a Boolean value, and a list to search. If an element that satisfies the predicate is found, the recursion ends and the function returns the value as an option in the expression Some(head). The recursion ends when the empty list is matched. At that point the value head has not been found, and None is returned.
