Went to bed watching Netflix, then awoke a few hours later to find that Firefox had auto updated to 34.0.5 and that I could no longer access any Netflix video... I receive a Netflix Error Code N8152, which refers to a DRM/Silverlight error. Netflix continues to work properly in IE and Chrome.

Following Netflix's instructions, I've uninstalled/reinstalled Silverlight multiple times (making sure I have the newest version). I've verified that Silverlight plug-in is set to "Always Activate" and that it is "Allowed" and Enabled for Netflix.com. (I have also followed all of Netflix's other troubleshooting tips, even though I know they are not relevant, such disabling virus protection software, and adding Netflix.com as a trusted site, etc...

hi tommyj1112, microsoft has released a defective update for silverlight through the monthly patchday yesterday (and disabled it again afterwards). can you try this fixit tool to restore your installation or else reinstall silverlight manually?

I have the same problem. I follow Philipps chosen solution several times but still "netflix" is not working. It works with "explorer" and with "chrome" because (as the guys at "netflix" told me) those two browsers do not use the silverlight "plug-in.But I do not want to use anything but "firefox".

What's going on about my Netflix error 1011? Is netflix down? Everytime I try to watch something on my phone, it says Sorry we could not reach the Netflix service. Please try again later. If the problem persists please visit netflix.com (1011). But it works perfect over WiFi idk what's going on...
I can no longer watch Netflix in any browser after upgrading to Windows 8. I get a DRM error N8156-6013. I get this error in all browsers.Plz help me out, quite thanks!

After announcing the shutdown of Asgard that managed the cloud resources of Amazon web services, Netflix on Dec. 16 launched its new open-sourced and multi-cloud software code/platform - Spinnaker, which makes it easy to extend and enhance cloud deployment models on Amazon cloud, Google's cloud (See detailed Netflix blog). BTW, I don't see Snapdragon X20 being supported on the official list. I was wondering if it is and was just not listed. I was planning on building a ZBT setup with T77W968 in it. I want to verify support before I start sourcing the parts. Thanks.

I set up a Broker on one router and gave it a client that connects to it. That client gets messages from one topic (all in Json format) , processes the commands and sends the response to those commands (also in Json format) to another topic.

On another router I have a controller client that also connects to the Broker (on the other router) and then sends commands on the topic the remote client is listening on. It gets the messages back from the remote client on the response topic and displays the results.

This is working over a network from one router to another. It would work even if the Broker was on a totally separate device and the routers were using the Internet. So you can have a router to router messaging system even if neither of them have a public IP as long as the Broker does.

Wow. This gives me an idea then. I have a Belkin N750DB (Model F9K1103v1) which runs OpenWRT RC1 just fine using this image: openwrt-19.07.0-rc1-ramips-rt3883-belkin_f9k1109v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin (attn to the model # f9k1109v1) . Anyway you are able to compile one for this model (if that's at all possible)? Flashed ROOTer for Asus RT-N56U in OpenWRT, no go. The RT-N56U was supposed to be the closest clone to this router. This has a flash recovery app I can access by holding the reset button briefly before boot, that did not work either. Thanks again. If you are able to build me an image, I'd be more than happy to test and report back. I plan on connecting an EC25-AF (to test), loaded on a USB mini-PCIE adapter (yet to arrive) through the USB port.

I was able to successfully update the firmware on my Dell card, I have confirmed a few different bands via windows. I currently have it in an H721 m2m, it is kind of wonky right now and does not talk. I was wondering if a new version would be available for this router that may solve this; if not I would put it in an AR750s if that option is available. Thank you for taking these requests so often for specific hardware.

I also was messing around with some WiFi cards I pulled from a few old laptops and they all popped right in and worked great. I was curious after pulling out a Bluetooth card; would BT support be possible in rooter, and if so what might it's utility be? Maybe for small devices that need a low power connection? I plugged it in and rooter noticed it was a wireless card, just wasn't heavy on the descriptors.

I wonder if there was a separate (outside of whirlpool) wiki if people would contribute? Reason I ask is I realize WP has one, but I forget literally all of the time, and find I never access it let alone contribute... :-/

Yes. This is the year 5G will hit wider adoption. Already Quectel and Telit have 5G modems but the prices are astronomical. I am hoping by the year's end the prices would have come down to a third of what it is now with more chip makers releasing 5G chips.

This has all the modem support of larger ROOter images but doesn't have all the extra features like OpenVPN, Samba or Load Balancing. Best I can do as this router is not supported in 18.06 so you are stuck with 19.07.

Wow. Worked right out of the box!! Thanks for breathing life into this paperweight. You saved me a few coins here and saved the landfill another router. Now just waiting for my USB-miniPCIe adapter to arrive from China to test. Awesome work!! Thank you very much!

I reached out to Quectel, and they provided a " QFirehose tool to upgrade the firmware of the following Quectel LTE and 5G modules in Linux and Android systems." along with the newest firmware and release notes. However, I am not sure if this application is too big or has been ported to work on OpenWRT?

Placing an EM12-G inside of a USB adapter today, I noticed the heat spreader on it was quite a bit loose. Could be why your heatsink didn't make much difference, if they don't have the spreader thermally connected to the chips underneath well (or at all)? Makes me kind of want to pry that thing off and explore...and maybe lay a piece of thermal tape between it and the chip core(s). Or put a heatsink directly on the core(s).

Also, what APN's does ROOter automatically scan for by default? I don't think "broadband" is in the list, and this is the default APN used by AT&T. How do we edit/add APN Broadband to the build image?

I haven't gone MIA on y'all, but I'm still between modems. The t77w968 I ordered that said it'd be here early January is still stuck somewhere, left a distribution center on the 4th and hasn't resurfaced yet.

In the build system, go to /package/rooter/ext-rooter-basic/files/etc/config/ and replace the profile file with the one from the router. This will start the router after flashing with the Profile(s) already set.
