A Wisconsin State Park System vehicle admission sticker is required on all motor vehicles stopping in state parks, forests and recreation areas. Admission stickers can be purchased online or at most individual properties via drive-up window service, electronic sales kiosks or self-registration stations.

There's an additional $5 fee for anyone who fails to pay for admission before using the park, forest, trail or recreation area. If a visitor refuses or fails to buy a sticker/trail pass, a citation can be issued.

Buy online: The Department of Natural Resources has the option to purchase Wisconsin State Park vehicle admission stickers online. Annual and daily Wisconsin Resident, Annual Wisconsin Resident Senior and Nonresident Annual stickers can be purchased online. Additionally, one Reduced Rate Annual sticker (for a vehicle registered to the same household address) can be purchased online at the same time as a full-price sticker. An admission sticker or admission sticker package can be purchased one at a time through the online service. A combination of stickers/trail passes can be purchased in one transaction at a state park property.

Reduced rate vehicle admission stickers are available for households with additional vehicles registered to the same address. One reduced-rate annual vehicle admission sticker can be purchased online at the same time as a full-price annual sticker. Reduced rate stickers are also sold at individual park properties if you are purchasing more than one reduced rate sticker for your household.

Visitors must have an admission sticker adhered to their vehicle as instructed on the sticker or proof of purchase for entry to Wisconsin State Parks. For more information about proof of purchase receipts, please see Admission Sticker and Trail Pass Receipts.

If you have a valid, current-year sticker and you are trading in your car or replacing a windshield with a vehicle admission sticker on it, you can get a replacement sticker for your new windshield at no charge by following the steps below.

The vehicle admission sticker rule applies to motorcycles. If your motorcycle does not have an adequate windshield or the sticker may damage the windshield, fasten the sticker in one of these places: on the front fork; behind the license plate; or under the seat. In some cases, a ranger may not see the sticker and issue you notice. If this happens, return to the park or forest office to show your sticker and void the notice.

The same vehicle admission rules apply to rental cars. Admission stickers must correspond to the license plate of the vehicle (a rental vehicle with out-of-state license plates must purchase a nonresident admission sticker). Per state statute, an admission sticker is non-transferable and must be affixed to the front windshield by its own adhesive to be valid. If you have not received your sticker yet, follow the guidelines above.

Yes, a vehicle admission sticker is required for any motor vehicles brought into the property, including campgrounds. A camper without an annual sticker will need to buy one daily sticker for each night of camping. Free daily stickers are available for vehicles towed or carried into the property by a vehicle with a purchased sticker.

The Collection Connection program uses prepaid stickers for picking up extra items outside the carts. Household items that are too bulky to be bagged, bundled or put in the trash cart such as extra trash bags, bicycles, lamps, lawn chairs, sofas, mattresses, box springs, washer, dryer, etc. must have a prepaid sticker attached to the item for collection at the curb. Items will be collected on your regular trash collection day.

Use this sticker for pickup of extra 32 gallon trash bags or for other small items weighing up to 25 pounds AND under 4 feet in length outside of your cart. These stickers are not for use with recyclables or yard waste. Wrap the sticker around the neck of the 32 gallon trash bag or attach to individual items. Use a separate sticker for each item.

Mattress or Box Springs - Each mattress or box spring requires a $5 bag sticker for pick-up. Why must a mattress or box spring be wrapped? The issue is related to worker health & safety caused by: sanitary conditions, soiled mattress, rain-soaked or bed bugs.

Electronic devices - Pennsylvania law prohibits the recycling/disposal of certain "covered" electronic devices, including desktop and laptop computers, computer monitors, computer peripherals, and televisions. These items are not accepted by the trash hauler. (Effective January 24, 2013)

Some large and heavy items fall outside the scope of normal residential waste collection and you will need to contract with our hauler or another commercial hauler to remove them. Examples of items outside the contract include televisions, riding lawn mowers, pianos, hot tubs, exterior doors and windows, garage doors, attic steps, laundry sinks, swing sets, assembled toilet tank and bowl, construction materials, and appliances containing refrigerant of any type.
