Rexster/Blueprints 2.4.0-SNAPSHOT

What is the typical practice/policy for updating the SNAPSHOT repositories at sonatype? 

My scenario: using TitanServer (includes Rexster/Blueprints functionality) with embedded Cassandra.  I'm building Titan 0.3.1 with a tinkerpop.version of "2.4.0-SNAPSHOT".  My issue is that the relevant SNAPSHOT repositories listed above were both last updated in early April, prior to these important features:

• Blueprints: Load/save GraphSON support for new types like Byte and Short (Blueprints #395). Needed for my integration tests.
  
• Rexster: Use the new metrics/monitoring features. I just setup a Graphite server (not fun) only to realize I don't have a build that supports metrics.

Any chance we could have updated snapshots?

I did try to do a maven  "install-file" approach to create my own local SNAPSHOT repositories.  I thought it was working, I got it to compile, but the new features weren't coming through.  I was getting lost in dependencies, so I thought I'd ask here before digging deeper.

Hmm, I think we can ignore this.  I just saw a comment go by about SNAPSHOT updates, so I looked into this again.

It seems that the date on the Maven Repository page isn't updated based on the latest actual snapshots. 

I'll post again after I try out a new build.

Hi,

When we "push to master," I typically also "mvn clean install deploy" which also deploys to SonaType SNAPSHOT repo. I don't think everyone at TinkerPop does this so you can't expect SonaType and master/ to be perfectly in sync.

If you need me to deploy some masters/ to SonaType, please tell me and I will do it.

Thanks Marko.  That approach to snapshots seems great to me (I'm still new to all this Maven-ry).

I've posted some notes about my attempts to build Titan 0.3.1 against the Blueprints/Rexster 2.4.0-SNAPSHOT repository. I'm running into a "metrics-core" dependency issue, while may not be feasible/worthwhile to resolve. Notes: https://github.com/inthefabric/Fabric/issues/13
