How can I find a vertex index number by knowing a value which is unique.

• gremlin> g.v(321).map
• ==> {value=U http://dbpedia.org/resource/Category:Olympic_medalists_in_tennis}
• gremlin> Index[g.v(321).value]
• ==> No such property: U http://dbpedia.org/resource/Category:Olympic_medalists_in_tennis for class: com.tinkerpop.blueprints.pgm.Index
• gremlin> g.idx(g.v(321).value)
• ==> 

I tried the above code snippet, but couldn't get the index of vertex number 321. Firstly I was looking for its value then I passed it to Index[] and to g.idx() but It didn't return me the index 321.

What do I miss? I assume there is one to one relation between index number and the value of it.
