Hello Poppers,

The OrientDB team just released OrientDB 1.0rc6 (see below). Note that Blueprints 1.1-SNAPSHOT was just bumped to support 1.0rc6. Thank you Luca for the pull-request.

Enjoy everyone,
Marko.

Index improvement

This release contains the huge contribution made by Andrey Lomakin and Artem Orobets about the support of index against multiple properties. This means a totally rewriting of many parts of the underlying index infrastructure and 150+ new test cases! They spent months of work to release this contribution, so many thanks in the name of the entire community and end users :-)

Another great contribution by James Roper is the support of indexes against collections of values.

Automatic backups

This new feature allows to have an automatic backup of the databases hosted in a OrientDB server. Just enable it via configuration. For more information: http://code.google.com/p/orient/wiki/AutomaticBackup.

Contribute to OrientDB project (sorry but I can't stop to remember this)

Please help OrientDB to be more famous by writing a short review in your Blog, Magazines and Mailing Lists. The magic formula is: More users = More test = More stable = More support (drivers, plugins, etc).

To report an issue to the Mailing List and to the Issue Tracker please give me always the following information:
