Hi,

I try to use the gephi-plugin.
Gephi and Tinker server/console are hosted by 2 different servers.

Console side :
==>Connection to Gephi - http://[MyIP]:8081/workspace1 with stepDelay:1000, startRGBColor:[0.0, 1.0, 0.5], colorToFade:g, colorFadeRate:0.7, startSize:10.0,sizeDecrementRate:0.33

Gephi side (GUI, streaming panel):
HTTPserver settings : Port : 8081. Port is the only parameter, no basic authent., no proxy, no SSL.

I always get a 404 response, from the console (:> graph), wget or even from a browser Gephi side.

URL:
http://[MyIP]:8081/workspace1

Response:
HTTP ERROR: 404
Problem accessing /workspace1. Reason:
    Not Found
Powered by Jetty://

Need help.

I'm not sure why you would have this problem. as you can't reach gephi from wget it doesn't appear to be an issue with the gephi plugin itself. Perhaps some firewall issues or some other configuration blocking access to the port?

Hmm - you're getting a 404 though which you wouldn't get if you weren't at least contacting the server. what version of gephi are you using?

Such an error can't come from firewall, furthermore so many http hits between both servers...
This link explains the issue : I'm french.
The fr workaround :

:remote config workspace espacedetravail1

Thanks for you support.

right - i realized that almost as soon as i sent that reply and tried to correct it with a followup post.

The fr workaround :

crazy - well, at least we had the command to change the workspace. that came in handy. :)   thanks for following up with the answer.
