shell
after shell
after salmon colored shell
onto a string
for my friend,
for my friend when she misses the sea.
A necklace of waves and tide,
ship bells and seabirds,
heart beats of harbors.
Shell after shell after shell.
For my friend,
when she misses the sea.
For my friend, when she misses me.
