this is more of a general question but I know that some Gregorio users use macOS.
I finally updated to Gregorio 6.1 by updating to TL 2025 with MacTex.
good news: a tmp-gre directory (with a subdirectory in my case) is created so that my .gabc files remain in the subdirectory by themselves (so if gabc files are in project/scores, the associated files created when typesetting are now in project/tmp-gre/scores). This is better as I can copy scores to my local git repository and push only that (I do set .gitignore properly, but it's a hassle to clean out the local directory if I goof).
anyway, the bad news: any change to the .gabc file is not recognized. I have to delete the auxiliary files to typeset again via TeXShop. When I make the change and go to typeset.
I get in the console: Latexmk: Nothing to do for 'gabc_mwe.tex'.
Latexmk: All targets (gabc_mwe.pdf) are up-to-date
I set the magic comments at the beginning as follows: % !TEX TS-program = lualatexmk
% !TEX parameter = --shell-escape
with regards to my first point: it seems to me that I can move the .gtex and .glog files to a simple recreation of the tmp-gre structure? or will that happen automatically when I go to typeset?
and what about the other auxiliary fiiles (.aux, .gaux, .log, anything created due to an index, table of contents)? How do I put those in a separate directory? (again, not only Gregorio-specific, but the .gaux part is at least)
