How to end staff sooner than right hand margin?

Dear Gregorio Users,

I am a noob and an idiot. Apologies for both in advance. 

I have just started using Gregorio with the aim of setting the PECUSA BCP 1979 Order for Compline (this text: https://www.bcponline.org/DailyOffice/compline.html ) in simple plainsong chant. I want to write it in neumes rather than modern music notation in order to encourage cantors to move Do to any comfortable pitch.

I've had great success (to my limited way of thinking) so far, getting what I want out of the on-line generator here ( https://www.sourceandsummit.com/editor/alpha ).

But there is one thing I cannot figure out, and that is, how can I get Gregorio to stop drawing the staff all the way to the right hand margin of the page, if my text stops part way across the page? I've put in a double bar (::) and I have tried putting in the page break marker (z) or (Z) but still I get things that look like the attached examples.

Any pointers would be appreciated, and sorry if this has already been asked and answered somewhere.

The online editors won’t let you do that as the feature doesn’t exist in the version they use. Indeed, at this point you can’t do that in any official release as the feature to stop the lines was added so recently. To get that feature at the moment, you have to clone the repository and build from source yourself.
