Hello there!
Are spaces in a syllable text, e.g. `foo bar baz()`, officially supported in GABC specification? Or they should be fixed as `foo() bar() baz()`?

Spaces in the syllable text shouldn’t be a problem, but note that the *first* vowel will be used to anchor the notes. So even though the parentheses are next to “baz” the note will start above the first “o” in “foo”. Naturally, using explicit vowel centering (with curly braces) or changing to syllable centering will change this anchor point.
Whether this is “officially supported” or not, well I’ve used it before but there’s nothing in the current spec for gabc that describes what should happen in this case. We certainly don’t have any plans to change the behavior either.
